and Gimli has just raw stats, he can take a hit and punch a big hole in the enemy. Legolas adds ranged, thus making you able to deal with the enemies that are engaged with the other player, also he can help progress through quests and locations when he kills a unit. I forgot that this set also has Bilbo Baggins which might actually be the best option as a whole (card draw every turn without having to exhaust) So I would put Beravor ahead of him in that regard. Also can have his uses, but his ability mostly only shines in single player. Denethor on the other hand is the only core box 3 defense unit. ^^īeravor late game can be very handy to get you some added card advantage. but the core box version definitely is top notch for the sheer Willpower and the option to increase her stat with duplicates of unique cards you don't need. Ofcourse there is the other version of her, which would be the best option as far as I know. imo one of the best questing heroes in the entire game. If you don't need to ready him, then you can also use Theodred to give you more resources.Įowyn, cannot argue with 4 willpower.
